Munin 980 Workboat

Munin 980 Workboats are now ready for delivery on 6 months notice. The boat has been developed in close cooperation with the major actor in seismic operations at sea. The product has more than fulfilled all the previous expectations for total performance in operation.

This workboat is designed according to the DNV 2.21 Craft (April 2010) It is equipped with standard minimum equipment according to DNV Craft 2.21regulations. All equipment and outfitting are high quality components. The workboat is designed and outfitted for fulfilling the demands for reliability, low maintenance cost and long-time heavy use. The workboat has excellent reliability, manoeuvrability and sea keeping abilities in heavy sea in order to fulfil its prime function - to perform as an effective work platform.

The boat is further designed to operate away from the mother ship for extended period, with sufficient range and long-time operation, with a high gunwale around the boat providing a protected and comfortable working environment for crew and passengers. The layout and performance of the boat allow it to perform roles as multi-purpose workboat, seismic workboat, towing boom, dive support, inspection- survey- and towingduties.
